Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that there are many conspiracies surrounding the elections. The conspiracy of those who did not support our liberation war did not stop. Since they know we bow down to no one, the intrigue is greater.
He said these things in an election public meeting at Rajendra College ground in Faridpur on Tuesday (January 2) afternoon.
Sheikh Hasina said that the people have brought us to power by voting for the boat brand. Since we have been in power for the past 15 years, Bangladesh today has got the status of a developing country from a less developed country. Today there is electricity, internet in every house. We are building digital Bangladesh, sending satellites in space, building nuclear power plants. We challenged the World Bank and built the Padma Bridge with our own money. Today I came from Dhaka to Faridpur in just two and a half hours. Earlier it used to take a lot of time to launch-steamer.
Awami League president said, I will be able to come to the government only if I get the boat brand vote. And we can build Bangladesh as a developing country. Bangladesh will never go back.
Earlier, the gathering started at 1:08 pm with Quran recitation, Gita and Bible reading. Then the national anthem was sung collectively. Later, leaders of Awami League and other organizations started speaking.
