Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been elected privately from Gopalganj-3 (Tungipara-Kotalipara) seat.
Sheikh Hasina (Boat) has been elected by getting 2 lakh 49 thousand 962 votes in the 12th National Parliament election on Sunday (January 7).
His nearest rival Sheikh Abul Kalam (AM) of NPP got 460 votes. Another candidate, Mahabur Molya (Rose Flower) of Zaker Party got 425 votes.
Total center of this constituency is 108.
