Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation today ahead of the 12th National Assembly elections on January 7.
General Secretary of Awami League, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said in a press conference at party president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday is our last public meeting. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on this day.
It is known that the Prime Minister’s speech will be broadcast on the state broadcaster this evening. The Prime Minister usually addresses the nation on the government’s anniversary, New Year or special occasions. This time he is coming to give a speech before the vote.
It should be noted that the voting for the 12th National Parliament election will be held on January 7.
