Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned from Saudi Arabia after attending the ‘Women in Islam’ conference and performing Umrah. He landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a flight at 7:50 am on Wednesday (November 8).
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited Saudi Arabia on 5th November. There he visited the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Masjid al-Nawabi in Madinah. That same night he reached Mecca and performed the holy Umrah at Masjid al-Haram (Kaaba Sharif) after Isha prayer. Later, on 6th November, the Prime Minister attended the ‘Women in Islam’ conference and spoke.
On the sidelines of the conference, he held a meeting with top officials of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and member countries. Besides, Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the ‘Women in Islam’ exhibition. Saudi Arabia jointly organized the conference with the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) from 6 to 8 November.
