The President is going to Tungipara of Gopalganj to participate in various programs of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 104th birth anniversary and National Children’s Day. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The President and the Prime Minister will reach Tungipara by helicopter on Sunday (March 17) morning. Extensive preparations have been made around their visit. Security has been beefed up.
Around the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, there is a festive atmosphere in his birthplace. A children’s rally has been organized at the Samadhi Soudh complex. There will be dance-song and poetry recitation.
The cleaning and beautification work has already been completed. Arches have been constructed at different places in the district. There is no lack of enthusiasm among the grassroots leaders and activists. The local Awami League has taken up the program in addition to the state program. Apart from this, the administration has already completed all preparations including security for the visit of the President and the Prime Minister.
It is known that upon reaching Tungipara, first the President and then the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will pay tribute by offering flowers at the altar of Bangabandhu’s tomb. At this time, they will participate in a special prayer and prayer for the souls of those killed on August 15, including Bangabandhu.
After bidding farewell to the President, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the Chief Guest at the Children’s Day discussion meeting organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs at Gate No. 1 of Samadhi Soudh Complex.
Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Kazi Mahbubul Alam said that all our preparations have already been completed with the help of law and order forces to make the arrival of the President and Prime Minister safe and festive.
