Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided the new price of gold in a gap of six days. Bajus announced the new prices in a press release on Wednesday (December 6).
In this, the price of good quality 22 carat gold has been reduced from Tk 1,750 to Tk 1,8,125. The price of solid gold of 21 carat is 1 lakh 3 thousand 226 taka, 18 carat is 87 thousand 807 taka and the price of traditional gold is 73 thousand 716 taka. The price of gold has been reduced but the price of silver has been kept unchanged.
Earlier, on November 29, 2019, the price of a good quality 22 carat gold bar was increased by Tk 1,750 to Tk 1,9,875. Apart from this, the price of 21 carat gold was fixed at 1 lakh 4 thousand 859 taka, 18 carat 89 thousand 929 taka and the price of one traditional gold bar was fixed at 74 thousand 941 taka.
