Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed urged the members of the two cores of the army to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. He made this call on Saturday (March 9) morning at Ghatail Shaheed Cantonment in Tangail by attending the fifth corps reunion ceremony as the chief guest.
While recalling the glorious tradition and contribution of this corps in the service of the country, he asked all the members to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training.
The army chief said that under the patronage of the prime minister, the army’s medical center has been modernized. Every member of the Army Medical Corps should be inspired by patriotism and liberation war and work dedicatedly for the country and keep the reputation of the army intact.
The Army Chief laid wreath at ‘Vijay Chetna’, a monument erected in memory of the martyrs located at the Army Medical Corps Center and School. The presence of the Chief of Army Staff at the Annual Commander’s Conference of the Army Medical Corps and Dental Corps reiterated the commitment to create new enthusiasm among the members of the Corps and to set a unique example of national service in the days to come among each member of the Corps.
