Chairman Roshan Ershad, Executive Chairman Kazi Feroz Rashid and General Secretary Kazi Mamunur Rashid have been announced. The announcement was made at the 10th Japa Conference organized at the Engineering Institute Hall in the capital on Saturday (March 9).
Delegates elected them by a show of hands against party proposals. Abu Hossain Babla was nominated as Senior Co-Chairman on the same occasion. Apart from this, Shahidur Rahman Tepa, Shafiqul Islam Sentu, Saad Ershad, Golam Sarwar Milan and Sunil Shubharay have been kept as co-chairmen. Earlier, the proceedings of the conference officially started at 12 noon with national anthem and hoisting of national and party flags.
In the beginning, the condolence proposal was read by the vice chairman of the party, Ziaul Haque Mridha. Kazi Mamunur Rashid presented the organizational report. Meanwhile, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has strengthened the security system in Ramna area of the capital to complete the 10th National Conference of Jatiya Party.
