Israel has closed two major hospitals in Gaza

International Desk, The CNN :

Israel has completely closed two of the largest hospitals in the Palestinian Gaza Strip. In a report on Monday (November 13), Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this information. According to the report, the two largest hospitals in Gaza, Al-Shifa and Al-Quds Hospital, have both been closed. Occupying Israeli snipers open fire on sight near al-Shifa hospital. They have locked up thousands of Palestinians inside the hospital.

Three nurses were killed in an attack by Israeli forces on the hospital, the United Nations said. Apart from this, 12 patients, including two premature babies, have died since the power outage started on November 11. On the other hand, Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has also been closed due to running out of fuel.

Hospital chief Ahmed al-Kahlut told Al Jazeera that the hospital’s main generator had run out of fuel. As a result, they were forced to stop the operation of the hospital. Besides the patients, more than 5 thousand displaced people are staying in the hospital, he said.

It should be noted that since October 7, the occupying Israeli forces have been conducting airstrikes in Gaza. No infrastructure in Gaza is spared from this attack by Israel. They have been attacking mosques, churches, schools, hospitals and civilian homes everywhere. More than 11,000 Palestinians have already been killed in the attack. Among them more than 7500 women and children.
