The price of gold has increased again in the country’s market. This time the maximum has increased to 1 thousand 750 taka per charge. As a result, the price of a good quality i.e. 22 carat gold bar is 1 lakh 11 thousand 41 taka. This is the highest price of gold in the market of the country. So far the price of which was 1 lakh 9 thousand 292 taka.
The new price of gold was decided in the meeting of Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee of Bangladesh Jewelery Association (BAJUS) on Saturday (November 23). Later this information was informed in a press release signed by the chairman of the committee, Masudur Rahman.
According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. The new price of gold has been fixed keeping in view the overall situation. The new prices will be implemented from Sunday (December 24).
According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold is Rs. The price of system gold will be sold at 75 thousand 699 rupees.
