Entertainment Desk, The CNN :

An FIR (First Information Report) has been filed by the Delhi Police in connection with the ‘Deepfake’ video of Indian South actress Rashmika Mandana. A report by NDTV on Saturday said that the Special Cell of the Delhi Police has registered an FIR on Friday (November 10) and started the investigation.

According to the police, an FIR has been registered with the special cell police station regarding the AI-generated (artificial intelligence) deepfake video of actress Rashmika.

Recently, Rashmika came under criticism for a video that went viral on social media.

In the video, a woman is seen entering the elevator and the woman is seen in a dress that Rashmika is not usually seen wearing.

Later it was found that Rashmika’s face was used on the body of another woman in the video. That’s called a ‘deepfake’ video. Deepfaking is the process of altering real video footage using artificial intelligence (AI) to replace a person’s appearance and physical condition with someone else’s.

Earlier, the Delhi Commission for Women called for quick action regarding the video. The actress herself has expressed concern over such incidents. Someone has used his photo illegally.
