Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said that the election will not stop for any party. The schedule will be announced tomorrow. BNP and its like-minded parties are working to obstruct the elections. It won’t do any good. Elections will be held on time. Those who obstruct illegally will be severely repressed.
He said this at a discussion meeting in Kushtia on Tuesday (November 14) afternoon.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated Kushtia Medical College and Hospital virtually from Ganobhaban around 12 noon.
Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub ul Alam Hanif MP joined from Kushtia at that time. Later there was a discussion meeting.
Hanif also said that the long-standing demands of the people of the region have been fulfilled by the inauguration of the medical college and hospital. People will once again vote in favor of Sheikh Hasina to continue such development across the country.
