The DB chief said, “Many teams of our DB’s Lalbagh division have been working in Chowkbazar and Shyambazar areas since yesterday afternoon to control the price of onion.” Collected intelligence. We think at this time if anyone is doing black market, hoarding onion, planning to sell it at high price, our intelligence is continuing. We will bring them under the law.
India on Friday stopped onion exports, which will remain until March next year. After this announcement, the onion market in the country became unstable. Onions are not available in the market below Tk 200. The government is not able to stop the traders even by conducting raids.
