Begum Khaleda Zia already knew the Pilkhana massacre would happen: Aviation Minister

Correspondent, The CNN :

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Farooq Khan said that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia already knew that the Pilkhana massacre would happen. He said this while talking to reporters after paying respects to the martyred army officers at the military cemetery in the capital’s Banani on Sunday (February 25) morning.

He also said, “We know that a black car left Begum Zia’s house shortly before the incident without any protocol.” It proved that he knew the incident would happen.

He said that there were two cases, one of murder and one of explosives. We have to follow the rules of justice. We hope that this case will be resolved at the earliest and that those who are guilty will be punished severely. All those involved will be punished and necessary measures have been taken to ensure that such incidents never happen again in Bangladesh. It will be taken in the future too.
