Awami League will announce the manifesto for the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections today. Party president Sheikh Hasina will present the manifesto at Hotel Sonargaon in the capital on Wednesday (December 27) at 10:30 am.
The members of the manifesto drafting committee said that after the implementation of Digital Bangladesh as promised, the manifesto for the upcoming elections has been prepared with emphasis on special measures to prevent corruption, product price control and good governance in the financial sector with the aim of building a smart Bangladesh.

It is literally the manifesto of the entire nation. What the people of the country expect from the Awami League in the upcoming elections is very important to the party. Not only that, Awami League has created a roadmap for long-term development beyond the specific term of the government in each manifesto. Each of these has been implemented very smoothly.
He said, this time also the election manifesto will be smart and mass-oriented. Apart from providing modern technology to people through Smart Bangladesh, employment will be created in the coming days through the visible developments. The main theme of this year will be to create employment for the youth in the coming days. The aim of Smart Bangladesh will be to accelerate industrialization with local and foreign investors by setting up factories, creating employment and increasing people’s income.
