Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, Awami League has ensured the food security of the people of the country. BNP only eats Iftar party and Awami League only feeds.
He said this at a discussion meeting at the Dhaka district Awami League building in Tejgaon of the capital on Monday (March 18) around 11:00 am.
He said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman used to work for the welfare of people since childhood. Despite his immense faith in people, he had to die at the hands of Bengalis on August 15, 1975.
Incidentally, Sunday (March 17) was the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. At the same time, the day is celebrated as National Child Adolescent Day across the country.
