Dhaka District BNP General Secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury has taken anticipatory bail from the High Court. The court granted him this bail in eight cases of sabotage. The judge granted this anticipatory bail till January 11.
The High Court bench of Justice Habibul Gani and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order on Monday (December 4).
He was granted bail in seven cases filed in the capital’s Ramna and Paltan police stations and one in the Dakshin Keranigonj police station.
After leaving the court, Nipun Roy Chowdhury said that it is the responsibility of the people of the country to protect the independence and sovereignty of the country. The government has tried to break BNP. But the efforts of this government were not successful. Government could not break BNP because of Tariq Rahman’s leadership.
