Journalist couple Mashranga Television news editor Golam Mostafa Sarwar aka Sagar Sarwar and ATN Bengali senior reporter Mehrun Nahar Runa aka Mehrun Runi have again delayed the filing of the report on the murder case. Due to this 103 times the report submission time was delayed.
Thursday (November 16) was the date for submitting the report of the case, but the investigating agency RAB could not submit the report to the court.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin has granted time till December 19 to submit the court report.
On the night of February 10, 2012, journalist couple Mashranga Television news editor Golam Mostafa Sarwar alias Sagar Sarwar and ATN Bangla senior reporter Mehrun Nahar Runa alias Mehrun Runi were murdered in their rented house in West Rajabazar of the capital.
Mehrun Rooney’s brother Nausher Alam Roman filed a murder case at Sher Bangla Nagar police station in the capital.
