After taking the oath, it will be known who the opposition parties are: Law Minister

Correspondent, The CNN :

Law Minister Anisul Haque said, who will be the opposition party, the oath will be known. He said this while talking to reporters in his office at the secretariat on Tuesday (January 9) afternoon.

Regarding the opposition party, he said, we have to wait a little to get clarity about the matter. After taking the oath on Wednesday, what will be the position of independents, they will surely tell. Only after their position is announced, who will be the opposition party, will understand.

In response to the question, he said that the parliamentarians will take oath on Wednesday. Awami League is the majority party. After electing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as Parliament Leader and Parliamentary Party Leader, the President will invite her to form the new government. Then the new government will be formed. Until the new government is formed, the current government will continue to serve.

Anisul Haque said there is no time limit for government formation. But as a rule, the new government is announced and sworn in within five to seven days of taking oath. I think it will be the same this time. This is my idea. But I can’t say the time. First, the Election Commission will publish the gazette of the new MPs. After that MPs have to take oath within 72 hours.
