West Indies could not fight against Australia in the first match of the two-match Test series. However, in the second last match of the series, the visitors lost Ajid by 8 runs. The series was drawn 1-1. Also, after 27 years, the Caribbean have ended the drought of Test victory on Australian soil. In this match Shamar Joseph is the hero of victory with eight wickets in two innings.
West Indies can score 311 runs in the first innings after winning the toss in the Brisbane Test. In response, the hosts were all out for 289 runs. Batting in the second innings, the visitors were all out for 193 runs. As a result, Australia got a target of 216 runs. Batting for the win, Smith-Cummins were all out for 207 runs. West Indies won by 8 runs.
Batting for 216 runs, Australia did not get off to a good start. Opener Osman Khawaja got out after scoring 10 runs off 17 balls. Marnus Labuschenne could not shine with the bat that day. This right-handed batsman returned to Sajghar after scoring 5 runs off 12 balls.

After 27 years, Shamar Joseph is one of the heroes of victory on Australian soil. He took one wicket in the first innings but took seven wickets in the second innings alone. Apart from this, Aljari Joseph took two wickets and Justin Garves took one wicket. Shamar Joseph became the best of the match with 8 wickets and the best of the series with 13 wickets.
