Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Chittagong phase match is going on. Although there are no team games today. However, Comilla Victorians pacer Mustafizur Rahman suffered a head injury during practice on a non-match day. Caribbean cricketer Matthew Ford’s ball hit Fizz on the head. He was then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The incident took place today (Sunday) while practicing at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The severity of Mustafiz’s injury can be confirmed after the tests. Basically, the ball hit Mustafiz on the back side of the head. He was on the bowling side when fellow foreigner Matthew Ford was batting. Suddenly the ball flew and hit Fizz on the head.
Immediately, the cutter master fell on the ground, bleeding started. An ambulance was quickly called. He was taken to a private hospital in Chittagong.
It is not yet known how serious Mustafizur Rahman’s injury is. Comilla management also could not inform about this before the treatment. It is feared that the Tiger Pacer has suffered a major injury.
