Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader said, there is no opportunity to show kindness to Myanmar. Under no circumstances will IDPs be allowed to enter.
He said these things at a press conference organized at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue on Monday (February 5). Obaidul Quader said that what our Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said on the Myanmar issue is our party’s position. He said that 95 members of the Border Guard Police (BGP) of the country have entered Bangladesh through the Tumbru border of Naikshyongchari in Bandarban with weapons due to the ongoing conflict inside Myanmar since yesterday. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) disarmed them and took them to safe haven. Further activities in this regard are ongoing.
