Awami League joint general secretary and foreign minister. Hasan Mahmud said that the big leaders of BNP are the crows of politics. They do politics of killing. He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized in Nawabganj Park ground to commemorate the killing of 7 Awami League leaders and activists in 1994 on Wednesday (January 31) morning.
The foreign minister said that Ziaur Rahman established BNP by handing over power. They have not yet come out of the politics of murder. They spread propaganda at home and abroad.
Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, BNP has killed police in imitation of Israeli forces. I have formed resistance against them, in the face of that resistance, BNP has fled into the hole. They did not participate in the election knowing that the election would be a shambles.
He said, they have visited foreigners from door to door to not give legitimacy to the government. All countries of the world want to work with this government. States have sent, and are still sending, congratulatory messages. BNP is realizing that just as the government has been legitimized, so has the parliament.
The foreign minister said that it does not matter what the officials under the UN said about the elections. TIB talks like BNP. They talk about corruption but when that institution becomes one-eyed, ‘dalme kuch kaala he’.
