Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman said that initiatives have been taken to increase exports and remittances to increase foreign exchange reserves. By implementing these, the dollar crisis will end soon.
He said these things in response to questions from journalists after a meeting at the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority building in Agargaon, capital, on Monday (January 29).
Salman F. Rahman said that one of the reasons for the increase in inflation is the increase in the price of goods in the international market. Also, the prices of some products in the country’s market have increased unreasonably. In these cases, the government has already reduced the price somewhat. The Ministry of Finance and Commerce is working with other ministries on the issue. It is expected that soon the prices will be more under control.
