Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation tomorrow Thursday (04 December). Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said these things in a briefing at Awami League President’s political office in Dhanmondi on Tuesday (January 3) afternoon.
He also said that 80 observers from 11 countries will come to the election. European Union representatives are already in Dhaka. 50 foreign journalists have come from different countries. This number may increase.
Regarding the Election Commission, Obaidul Quader said, this time the Election Commission is able to exercise its independent and authoritative rights. They take action where they see violations of the code of conduct. Their stance on free and fair elections is visible.
Awami League organizing secretary BM Mozammel Haque, office secretary Biplab Barua, deputy office secretary Sayem Khan and others were present.
