Some think independence is just like that: Kader Siddiqui

Correspondent, The CNN :

President of Krishak Sramik Janata League Bangbir Quader Siddiqui said, I came to this election and saw an interesting thing, now no one is worried about freedom. Some people think that freedom is like that.

He said this at the Basail election road meeting in Tangail on Saturday (December 30) afternoon.

He also said that when I became an MP, the government promised to reduce the price of jute, reduce the price of fertilizers and provide jobs to crores of people, but it did not deliver anything. At that time I was asking that he made a promise, if he did not fulfill even one promise, then people will not vote. My book said ‘don’t worry we will say new things people will vote’.

Kader Siddiqui said, I do what I say, I want to do what I say and I will do it. That’s why I left Awami League because of disagreement with me. I came to this election and saw an interesting thing, now no one is worried about freedom. Some people think that freedom is like that.

Bangbir said that Bangabandhu was killed on August 15. I protested his killing. The people of Bangabandhu’s party do not think that we have done a good job by protesting the killing of Bangabandhu. In these few days, I thought that those who are killing Bangabandhu, according to some people, they are doing a good job. We are living in a state of turmoil.

He also said, I was starting the towel team from Basail-Sakhipur. This team is Basail Sakhipur’s team. You will vote yourself and you will be respected. By saying this, he is asking everyone to vote. Leaders and activists of Krishak Sramik Janata League were present at the time.
