Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged everyone to resist fire terrorism and said that BNP thought that if two buses were set on fire, the government would fall, it is not so easy. They will take away people’s lives, will not allow people to vote, will stop the election, where do they get so much courage?
He also said that sitting in that London gave orders and how many people played with fire here. They should remember that if they play with fire, they burn their hands.
He said these things in a public meeting organized by the District and Metropolitan Awami League at Sylhet Government Alia Madrasa ground on Wednesday (December 20) afternoon.
Sheikh Hasina said that today we have got the status of a developing country because the people of the country have repeatedly voted for the Awami League. Today, Bangladesh is moving forward. We are working as Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman wanted to develop the country. Those who illegally seized power by killing the father of the nation, violating the constitution did not look at the masses. They just looted, stole people’s votes, how to steal through yes-no vote, stealing was their job.
He said that while we are working for the development of the country, BNP’s job is to burn people with fire. If there is a sense of humanity in a person, the mother and child are set on fire in this way, the mother and her child were burnt to coal while the mother hugged the child to her chest to save them. They are burning trains-buses-cars with fire.
