Despite opener Soumya Sarkar’s brilliant century, Bangladesh team lost the ODI series against New Zealand with one match remaining. The Tigers lost to New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second ODI of the series. Bangladesh lost the first match by 44 runs due to rain.

Bangladesh scored 291 runs in 49.5 overs after Soumya’s 22 fours and two sixes for 169 runs on Wednesday (December 20).
