Today, December 10 (Sunday) is World Human Rights Day. The theme of the day is ‘Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All’.
Various human rights organizations of the country will celebrate the day through various programs including human bonds and discussion meetings.
President gave a separate message on the occasion of World Human Rights Day. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
President Md. Sahabuddin urged everyone to be vocal in protecting the rights of all the oppressed people of the world including Palestine. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed solidarity with the just struggle of the exploited and oppressed people of the world on behalf of the people of Bangladesh.
In his speech, the President said, besides guaranteeing basic rights and needs of people, upholding security, freedom and dignity are human rights. Unfortunately, in the 21st century and today in the age of information technology, human rights are being violated in various parts of the world. We have to constantly struggle to establish and protect human rights.
