Amit Shah’s call to uproot the Mamata government

International Desk, The CNN:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called for the uprooting of the Trinamool government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from a BJP rally at Dharmatala in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, India.

On Wednesday (November 29), he urged the BJP to win massively in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He also claimed that the Trinamool government will be ousted in the 2026 assembly elections. At this time he commented that only BJP can do the job of making Bengal ‘Golden Bengal’ and no one else. Amit Shah also commented that to bring ‘CAA’, to stop corruption, to keep the border secure, to develop the poor people of Bengal, to bring back the identity of Bengal, the government of Mamata Banerjee should be uprooted.

On the other hand, the Trinamool MLAs protested against the central government by wearing black clothes in the assembly premises. At that time Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also participated in the program. At the protest meeting, the state minister Firhad Hakim shouted, ‘BJP will be defeated in 2024 (elections)! Vokatta! “BJP is not coming to power in 2024 – it will not come, why are you not giving money for one hundred days of work, Narendra Modi, answer, go to Delhi for one hundred days of money, go to Delhi” etc.

Meanwhile, today, Amit Shah criticized the state government for all kinds of corruption in the state, starting from coal to education. He complained that although the central government sent money for the people of Bengal, the syndicate leaders of Trinamool were embezzling it. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has alleged that Bengal has the most ‘infiltration’. He sneered that Mamata Banerjee was once vocal in Parliament on the issue of ‘infiltration’ but now she is silent on the issue.

Targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah said, ‘Didi, open your ears and listen, you can throw Shubhenduji out of the assembly but you cannot convince the people of Bengal. The people of Bengal are saying, Didi, your time is up.

Incidentally, leader of opposition and BJP MLA Subvendu Adhikari was suspended from the assembly the day before the meeting of senior BJP leader Amit Shah.
