Metropolitan Awami League has announced a peace and development rally in 44 organizational wards of Chittagong on Sunday (November 26) to protest the blockade and anarchy of BNP-Jamaat.
This information was informed in a press release signed by Shafiqul Islam Farooq, Publicity and Publication Secretary of Metropolitan Awami League on Friday (November 24) night.
It is said that on November 26 (Sunday) Awami League’s peace and development rally will be held in 44 organizational wards to protest against the unreasonable blockade initiated by the metropolitan Awami League to prevent the sabotage of anarchy and arson by anti-independence forces including BNP-Jamaat and to take effective measures to protect the lives and property of the people.
According to the circular, the general secretary of Chittagong Awami League and former city mayor AJM Nashir Uddin has called for the position of leaders and workers of all levels of Chittagong city, police stations, wards and units of Awami League, including organs and subsidiary organizations.
