Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASD), Samyavadi Dal, Jatiya Party (JP) and Workers Party of Bangladesh have applied to the EC to participate in the election in alliance with A.League in the 12th National Assembly elections.
A source in the commission confirmed their application on Saturday (November 18).
It is known that Dilip Barua’s Communist Party, Rashed Khan Menon’s Bangladesh Workers Party and Anwar Hossain Manju-led Jatiya Party (JP) submitted the application on Saturday morning. On Friday (November 17), the Jasad led by Hasanul Haque Inu applied. They made this application under Section 20 (1) (a) of the Representation of the People Order (RPO).
