The country was once again shaken by the earthquake in the space of 24 hours. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.6 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt on Sunday (November 5) morning. An earthquake was felt earlier last Friday night.

Rescue operations are still underway in western Nepal, which was hit by Friday night’s earthquake. Many people spent the night under the open sky. The emergency department has reported that 157 bodies have been recovered from the earthquake so far.

According to the country’s Ganamath report, a large number of security forces have been deployed to assist the victims of the earthquake. About 400 injured people are under treatment.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center of Nepal, the epicenter of the earthquake was in Jajarkot area of western Nepal. The earthquake struck at 11:47 pm on Friday. At this time, neighboring West Rukum area was also affected by this earthquake. The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.4 on the Richter scale.

The local administration has instructed the residents to stay out of their homes for at least 24 hours. Tremors were also felt in several places in neighboring India.
