Four people were killed by gunmen at an event in the US state of California. Several others were injured. Local authorities said that the shooting happened during a ceremony in a residential building in King City, California on Sunday.
According to reports, a party was going on in a residential building in King City on Sunday evening local time, when the gunmen ambushed. At least three men were seriously injured. They were later declared dead on the spot. In addition, a woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries and was pronounced dead, authorities said.
In a statement, the King City Police Department said three other men were taken to a hospital in Salinas for treatment of injuries sustained in the shooting.
Police say three unidentified gunmen got out of a car and started firing indiscriminately at people attending the party held in the residential building. This caused this casualty. The police said that the shooting incident in front of the residential building in King City is under investigation.
