24 more people have died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. 1 thousand 520 people have died so far this year. This information is known from the dengue report of the Department of Health on Wednesday (November 15).
It said that among the dead in the last 24 hours, 13 are from Dhaka City and 11 are from outside Dhaka City. At the same time, 1,623 people were admitted to the hospital. Among them, 349 people are from Dhaka City and 1 thousand 274 people are outside Dhaka City. At present, 5 thousand 755 dengue patients are under treatment in different hospitals of the country.
So far this year, 2 lakh 96 thousand 665 people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue. 2 lakh 89 thousand 390 people have recovered and left the hospital. 1 thousand 520 people died. Among them 885 people from Dhaka City and 635 people from outside Dhaka City.
It should be noted that last year, 62 thousand 382 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. Among them, 281 people died.
